The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Pretty good half but Villa really are dog****e.

Can't help but thinking nando should be playing. Nearly a 100k a week and he goes to watch the missus give birth, surely he'd be more use out on the pitch.

Villa have been ****e but we've been impressive, played to a good tempo.

Lucas and Merieles have bossed midfield and looked v.good.
I don't think we have mate, Villa are truly awful, but we have have, since getting the second, just sat back and let them have the ball and tried to counter, it is not an issue against Villa who's attack have 1 brain cell between them, but we should be going for the throat.

It's proving hazardous out there for the lad. He's getting a right roasting.

The way he's been playing lately, i'm happier than he's in the hospital.

I didn't mean we played badly, just stating our approach under Hodgson. Normally, a team winning 2-0 at home, should have the majority of the possession.
                    Are we winning?

                      Bit unfair IMO.

We're not on a long run of wins, we're not full of confidence and we've hardly looked watertight at the back.

It's understandable that we may sit off a little and try to consolidate our position, at least to make sure we take a two-goal lead into the break.

Villa terrible in midfield, being dominated with ease by Meireles and Lucas. I expected this tbh. There in turmoil and effected heavily by injuries.

Should be enough to take the pressure of Roy, again. No doubt it will be two steps forward and two steps back for LFC in the coming weeks. Still think we'll finish between 6th and 10th.
                        Forwards.......

Sitting back too much after the 2nd goal, Babel and Lucas are playing really well, over-all performance nothing special, against Villa we should be pushing forward a bit more and trying to kill off the game.

Try and score another goal 2nd half and bring on a couple youngsters I say.

We need to go an win at Newcastle. Fulham at home after that, which should be a banker.

3 wins on the bounce, if it happens, would make quite a difference.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
