I strongly suggest he should have gone after the Blackpool game. New owners and a new manager for the feel good factor. Since tehn we've been up and down and everytime we take a step forward we take a step back.

Twice under Roy now I've seen us get some decent results and then had a look at the fixtures and seen a great opportunity to really push on and gain some momentum. Everytime though we just **** it up. And we have largely this season got exactly what we deserve.
    Agreed

Already too late. 4th is gone, Torres is going and we've become a joke of a club, midtable ****e, nothing better.

My lack of faith is down to the fact that even IF they do something in the next month or so, they'll still have sat back for too long and allowed us to go to ****.

It's a burning house scenario and NESV have sat by, casually wondering whether or not to call the fire brigade.

That is just pathetic if so. In the past we've had reason to keep a manager in charge until the end. Whilst Ged was on the way out for instances he still managed to get us 4th. Whilst sacking Rafa full stop was crazy, never mind doing it half way through after a season where we came second.

There is NO reason to keep Roy on football grounds or tradition wise.

The only reason I would even contemplate keeping him was if we had a top manager secured for the end of the season and they are reluctant to get a temporary manager in.
        Forwards.......

Not having a go at you mate, but if that's their thinking, then it's utter bollocks. The 'Liverpool Way' was always, first and foremost, about being the best, about strengthening when we were at the top, and about doing whatever it took to succeed. It's not about being absolutely **** (which we are now) and sitting by letting it get worse.

**** that bollocks, Hodgson is DESTROYING Liverpool Football Club single handed and even a blind chimp would be able to see that keeping him is doing more and more damage to an already bleeding wound.

interestingly loads of people were willing to take administration to ruin one season then we could build from there

now we should sack dodge and bring in anyone.

i remember we should sack rafa and bring anyone in as they would do better, well the evidence is that anyone wont.

its awful to watch but they are here for the long term and despite cries of doing nothing they have got a new chairman and commolli and on the way to getting a ceo.

we all know that you dont usually get many good deals or players in Jan.

Dodge shouldnt be here i dont think anyone can doubt that but to just get rid and bring someone else in brings its own risks and this is that we pay dodge off and get someone who doesnt improve things. thats not a good way of doing things. I imagine he could be here at the end of the season but i would put large money on he wont be here at the beginning of next season.

I know keeping him has its own risks but to state sacking him and bringing someone else in doesnt is living on another planet.

Ideally we would never have hired bodge and got someone who fits the bill we are looking for now.

to say they dont care is nonesense. They may not share everyones views of the risks of replacing dodgeson now against the end of the season this doesnt mean they dont care.

i would love it if dodgeson went at xmas and we got a good manager in though the name doesnt bother me i do want someone to build the club also play a pressing game higher up the pitch than we do etc. if that person isnt available till the end of the season then its a case of looking at one risk against the other.

By then mate it may be to late for the Club to recover from the situation where our top players, Torres, Reina etc, have already left IMO

Without doubt, it'll be too late.

We'll basically be in the same sort of state as teams like Sunderland, Blackburn etc - and from that starting point, trying to get back into the top 4 will be impossible.

Our next manager has to be a top appointment. We can't afford to be mid table again next year. If we have to wait for the ideal candidate then that is what we must do. However, I would be moving heaven and earth to make the move quicker.

I would also be looking at getting a temporary manager in until the end of the season and have one last go at getting the club as high as possible this year.

Personally, I think that if we have identified a new manager, we should be able to convince them to make the move now.

one min you say he isnt trying he should leave

next that he will leave and NESV should get the finger out to stop him.

no i dont want any of our top players to leave

However sack dodge and get someone who is ****, oh Torres still goes and we have paid dodge off so achieved nothing

Maybe Torres has already decided he is going

as i keep stating i dont want bodge as boss and i dont think i ever did even though i can understand how he ended up here.

but its about getting the decision right. I remember saying this to you when you wanted rafa gone and you said anyone could get us to the top 4 have we not learnt that you need to get the right manager in.

Also maybe torres going could be for the best. i doubt it but then people thought Keegan going was the end, the scum thought when ginsoak rudolph nosed **** has got rid of big players its been the end and you know what it hasnt.

i am not saying your wrong in saying there are risks with bodge still being here as clearly there are, i just think it doesnt indicate they dont care or are doing nothing.

Like i said, they appear to be lighting cigarettes and having a game of cards while the house burns down before their eyes.

Of course a new manager is a 'risk'. But we KNOW hodgson is ****, we KNOW we are ****ed with him in charge. So what the **** is going to get worse by sacking the useless idiot?
