Kenny Dalglish insists that he sees no reason why any of the club's stars would want to leave Liverpool.
Pepe Reina has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside outfit, despite only signing a new six-year deal in April. Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt both signed extensions last year. Fernando Torres' contract with the Reds also has some time left, as he is tied to the Reds until 2013, yet all four players have been tipped to move on in the near future.
Despite the club's poor season to date, the legendary Scot believes that all the players are still inclined to remain loyal to their employers.
When quizzed by Sky Sports News as to whether he envisions players leaving, Dalglish said: "I wouldn't see that as a problem.
"I don't think there's anybody trying to get away.
"They've all committed themselves to the club for a long time, we were delighted when they did, and I can't see any reason why they would change their minds."
Dalglish was himself interested in managing the club before Roy Hodgson was appointed to take charge, and the former Fulham boss has hit some rough weather as a section of the fans have repeatedly aimed chants at bringing back their former manager to the hotseat.
But for his own part, the club's head of football development believes that the former Inter boss should be given more time, as the club is still in a transitional period.
"It's a transitional period for the club, Roy came in very late on in the summer, his players were away on international duty, he took a while to assess the staff, and by the time he did that he had run out of time in the transfer market," Dalglish noted.
"Through no fault of Roy Hodgson's, it is a transitional period. The takeover rightly took precedence over everything else. The club has settled down a lot more now and has some stability. Now we need to get results on the pitch.
"Roy Hodgson will decide if he needs to improve the squad. If he sees a weakness I'm sure he'll ask the owners for finance."
