Well those 36 people on here have something in common with the classy gent that is El Haj Diouf. He also doesn't seem to like Carra very much either.

El-Hadji Diouf has described former teammate Jamie Carragher as a 'nothing', and bizarrely compared him to a selection of condiments.

Carragher criticised the Blackburn forward in his autobiography, saying Diouf didn't care about winning or losing, and it seems Diouf is not one to let a grudge go easily.

The Senegal international is quoted in The Sun as saying: "If Liverpool had 10 players like Carragher, then they would never win anything.

"Carragher, for me, is nothing. He's like a make of ketchup or mustard to a normal person, not important. I played for Liverpool for two years and Carragher never spoke to me. That's life, some people are like that.

"We didn't have a team at Liverpool. We had the English somewhere and the French boys somewhere. If it's like that, you can do nothing together.

"Carragher is just a guy who loves to talk.

"But Carragher doesn't sell papers, Carragher doesn't sell shirts."

Blackburn are due to face Liverpool on January 5, although Carragher will play no part after being ruled out for a lengthy spell with a shoulder injury.

That didn't stop Diouf though. He continued: "When I played at Liverpool, Carragher could have talked to me then - but he didn't.

"He was jealous of me - that's why he talked about me. Because when I came to Liverpool I earned more than him and I was a bigger name than him.

"I took my country to the World Cup and to the finals of the African Nations Cup.

"So Carragher can't criticise me because, to me, he has done nothing with his life.

"I'm not going to listen to what Carragher says. I listen to the big men, the greats of football. Both said very good things about me."

The 'big men' to whom Diouf referred were Pele and Diego Maradona, who both named him in their top 100 players in the world.

Bloody hell, Doofus makes about as much sense as The Bodge.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

In fairness Shankly didn't. He was far too attached to the mid-sixties side and they played on far too long as a unit. It took a shock defeat away at Second Division Watford in the 1970 FA Cup to make him realise that half the team needed moving on. Just three years later we won the League and UEFA Cup double with a much-revamped side after a whopping 7 trophy-less years

I wonder if The Hoof still thinks we are pricks for not liking The Bodge? Enjoy you 90K worth of silver per week, Judas Hoofer.

All is forgiven Jamie. Hurry back, Agger needs company.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Well past his best and would still be our best defender

                      We've a ****ing shocking defence.

                        That Poll is pretty damning.

I wasn’t really against Carra but was interested to see the experiment of how we play without him. We had the best defense in the last 6 games ( what a **** stat that Sky kept mentioning to make Roy look good) just before he got injured, but sadly have been dire since.

He's a legend alright and has been a great servant.

But we need to be ruthless and accept that he's a decent squad player to have around with no input on team or manager selection. If he's not happy with that then he can go and finish his playing career at the likes of Wigan or Everton.

We only conceded 35 goals last season though, with pretty much the same defence, says about out the teams set up.
