Just because your current missus turned out to be a nightmare, doesn't necessarily mean your ex was and will be THE one for you. You are willing to forgive and accept all that baggage again if you take her back and live with it for the near future.
There's always another option that most of you don't wanna look at or talk about which is get someone new in with fresh ideas and the same hunger that Rafa showed when he was doing well here.
Frankly though, Rafa has lost it a bit. He looks mentally knackered and as his agent said yesterday, it's time for him to take a bit of a break than rush back into things.
Even Maureen took a break for a while when he lost his mojo(8-9 months) and came back strong and fresh.
The Chelsea fans did crib all the while about wanting Maureen back but Roman had the sense to take a new approach and went for Scolari which backfired like Roy for us now but he did the sensible thing by sticking to his guns by getting in Ancelotti(some one new and other than Maureen) who got them success with style.
Well said that man

Oh...70-80% of fans disagree with you, so that makes THEM gob ****es, well done, suppose somehow that seems the logical answer to you.

Why are you discussing thing with an obvious Manc(Bulld0g)?
Look at his post history and decide yourself if he is a Liverpool fan or not. I would say looking at it makes it very clear what he is.......
Almost all of his posts are moaning or wind up ones.
Just ignore him and don't let him destroy the threads
Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

No, you call talk **** that is either very stupid or indicates you are a little Englander.Originally posted by Bulld0g View PostAhhh i see i've rattled a few cages, You's dont like it when someone isn't patting Rafa on the back and saying he was taking us in the right direction. He wasn't a failure ? so therefore he was a success or he was average. Which was it ?
Either way, i'm glad he moved on when he did. The sooner Hodgson moves on the better, they are too similar as in, they don't set out to win games but not to lose them.
Utter tripe, I can only presume you have barely watched any games and only read the papers with that nonsense.

Yes because I thought he was about my age. You've misinterpreted it.Originally posted by Chrono View PostYet you asked him his age based on his comment/opinion.
See my post somewhere else where I said the Liverpool Way is brought up to lambast other supporters by "people who are old enough to know better."
Of course he didn't answer, but it's clear from what he said at least that he's not a teenager.
Thanks for trying to stir things up here - perhaps you'd be good enough to let me know whether I've passed or failed your hypocrisy test.
Tbh I find your intervention a bit unnecessary and disappointing but never mind.Last edited by Neil Young; 25-12-10, 01:12 PM..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

It's a shame I didn't fully research your previous comments then I would have been aware that your comments on the "Liverpool way" were not patronising in the slightest.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostYes because I thought he was about my age. You've misinterpreted it.

Either I misunderstood or was trying to stir things up, clearly not both.

Guess what? I had a season ticket that season too and went to all the away games as well. Every successful team is a crushing machine by definition and, at the same time, such teams that score lots of goals must inevitably play excellent football and be good to watch. No unexciting team could possibly score as many goals and win so many games. Had we amassed the same number of points by winning lots of games 1-0 and grinding out away draws there would be some validity to what you say, but that's not the case.Originally posted by Lecter View Posti had a season ticket that season and I can tell you we were not an attacking exciting side
We could be on occasion but more than anything we were a crushing machine
Best side I've ever seen at Anfield but not the most attractive or attacking team
Let's not forget that apart from the stunning 7-0 win over Spurs ("...we were not an attacking exciting side..."???) at home, the same team went to Old Trafford, gave them a football lesson playing open, attacking football and stuffed them 3-0 and also scored 3 or more goals away from home on no fewer than 8 occasions, including scoring 4 goals in three of those games.
If anyone believes that team of 78-79 with such a record of attacking football away from home wasn't awesome to watch then the world truly has gone mad. But then perhaps you think we were lucky in all those games and crushed the opposition by boring them to death passing the ball sideways until they fell asleep?
This is an amazing away record - an attacking away record being the true measure of a team's game philosophy - but you dismiss the team as the best you've "seen at Anfield".
The team in the late 80s was indeed great but they never matched the 78-79 team's record and, as the facts show, that team attacked and scored lots of goals wherever it played and wasn't just a great home side that ground out results away from home. The facts absolutely disprove such a crackpot notion

Mate and the rest. I'd conservatively say 95% of fans want Hodgson gone!Originally posted by Vermilion View Post
