Well now that you're back and not living (if only), perhaps you could answer the original question. What english manager would you nominate for the job? The current incumbent is doing so well, after all...

Well i asked 8 different people at the game tonight, and the response was 100%.

    Oh dear. For your theory.

I have a bad feeling they'll give him time to bed new January signings in, we will limp on, few wins, few draws, few losses and it will just prolong the agony. But i can't see NESV giving in because the mob want, IMO they won't be influenced. If that was the case Roy woul dhave been gone ages ago. Anyways i hope they make the right decision and fast!
So you think NESV are a bunch of bull****ting liars then?

      "We're here to listen" etc...

In fairness to NESV, they only said they'd listen. They didn't say they'd act. Only important things to remember:

We will listen to the fans.

We want people to judge us on our actions.

        We will make no promises.

i still have complete faith that we'll be laughing in two years. i think they can be forgiven for being a little naive, but we should still try to hold them to some sort of standards while they cut their teeth. i'm a bit pissed off with them now, but i don't expect i always will be.

If they have listened and learned then they will know that Roy should have been sacked by now. I can excuse lack of knowledge for only so long.

              i refer you to this:

well, that's my opinion. i think one reason nesv haven't acted is the want to do things their own way. they're not on our timetable, and these kinds of appointments are traditionally their strength. they won't listen to you or me, they might listen to experts until they feel confident enough to make up their own minds.

whoever it winds up being, it will be someone who agrees with their philosophy and who they feel they can trust. any amount of speculation probably won't get us anywhere really, i think we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
they have their own ideas, and not having too much managerial turn over is a concern for them. if they make an appointment in haste, now, that could mean several contract cancelations, plus the possibility that whoever they bring in won't work out, which will mean yet more contracts get paid up, and you've got a merry-go-round with all the coming and goings of the backroom staff. could unsettle the players even more.

that's just one way to think about it, but if you can see it from nesv's perpective, it makes sense to not rush into anything, by which i don't mean firing roy, but hiring his successor.

i realize there is kenny, but assuming they don't want to ruin him with a managerial appointment, what other choice do they have but to wait until they're satisfied they have enough information and can make an informed decision.

              sucks like hell, though, truly.

I believe the majority of fans who think\wish it will happen are forum posters. I believe IF it does take place it will be a small minority in the ground. And I believe they are embarrassing our club. Does that make it any clearer for those of you too ****in bone idle to read my posts.

Just to clarify to everyone, i have never said or implied anywhere, either on any forum or in real life that fans who go to the games are more valuable or should have a bigger say than those that don't. Indeed fans who attend on rare occassions usually spend a lot of money in the club on souveneirs etc.

As for being a pillock, Neil ? Didn't you mention about childish namecalling in an earlier post
Perhaps you're too bone idle to read and respond to my (long) post from a couple of days ago but never mind about that.

Events have overtaken us - Hodgson doesn't think we're good supporters and the crowd have started calling for him to go.
                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

This came up on a night out earlier in the week. Keegan in wasnt the original aim. The protests against Fat Sam were on account of (and yes this is the majority view) Newcastle playing 'the worst football we'd ever seen'. It wasn't that they objected to getting beat. It was the god ****ing awful way they went about getting beat.

                  Sound familiar?
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Well lets start off by naming an English manager who is good enough to manage us ,,errrrrrrr, not many English managers out there is there, let alone good enough or did you really expect me to come out with a name just to please you.

What exactly was my theory ? That Foreign managers put the Champions League before the prem ? of course they do. If you were managing in another country, say Germany, what would mean more to you, the league or the Champions League.

Spaniards think their league is better than ours and the Italians think theirs is better than anyone elses. Steve Gerrard said winning trophies with Liverpool means more than winning them with another club. It's the same for managers, it's nice to win other leagues but your own means more and the Champions league on your CV looks better to other European clubs than a league title.

BTW a bit childish to wish someone dead because of a difference of opinions in football isn't it. Or am i wrong again and did you merely only wish me not living.

Yea no foreign manager has ever rested players before playing in a Champions league game before have they. And they have all sacrificed their key players in the Champions legue to get those vital three league points

It would have been a before last nights game.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Mr Ferguson has changed his team for over 150 games running now.
                              Oh I don't know.
