NESV next move would be to do nothing (includes no transfers in, maybe one/two out) until the summer

@ Kemm: I understand your reservations, and this argument has been had a thousand times before.

Personally, I feel Roy is a dead man walking if the intention is to kick him out in the summer. In situations like this the effect is always negative on the team and counter productive.

I think if we bring a short term option in, everyone knows this, there are no rumours and there are no negative influences on the team.

Furthermore, put an Anfield legend in the hot seat and there will be no lack of effort or slacking off until the summer. It could be enough to galvanise the squad and bring about an unlikely charge for 4th. At the very least we'd have a go and be entertaining.

The way things remain - forget 4th. I think either way we go we will not be relegated, so it would be only worth changing things to get 4th place and to bring about a feel good factor that at present is missing.
      Forwards.......

I think there may be an arrival or two, but it will be Cannelloni who decides if and who.

Fair enough and the League is piss poor this season so I guess it would have to be Kenny then, that's if we can't get Hiddink.

I think Thommo would jump at the chance.

You think so, I kind of see him as slipping into that 'Alan Hansen' media comfort zone.

Actually I'm his agent, not PR manager. If I were then he wouldn't have such a terrible public image.

I don't want to give away too much but perhaps you should consider the possibility that I claim to be content for Hodgson to stay in post until the end of the season because it is entirely in my client's interest. He has a contract with John Lewis Partnership (ref: Waitrose/Dry Foods Aisle) until May at which point he picks up a loyalty bonus (300g of Waitrose-brand pasta bows, plus £20 in John Lewis vouchers).

                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

We could always bring Houllier back, think he'll be available soon

Joint managers. That would be a good idea that could never fail.

Bring back Roy Evans & Graeme Souness as his number 2, first signing will be Nicky tanner, look at that barnet, awesome.

Not suggesting him as manager but is Roy Evans in work at the minute?

Also - what would peoples thoughts be of Toshack as a temporary option?
