I've given him so much stick since the day he was first linked, but being such a soft ****e I still can't help feeling a little bit sorry for him. To me he looks a broken man and I never take pleasure in seeing any man in that situation.
Here's the video of the press conference.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

The Last place the Owl wants to be is Anfield tomorrow. If he had any self respect he would've resigned after the Wolves match, but you know the only reason he's hanging on is for the sack, and a huge payday.
All the drivel in that so called apology is only to get an easier ride from the Kop until his prayers are answered.

But he only has himself to blame doesn't he? Signing the likes of PFK and Poulsen, getting rid of Aquilani, spouting crap everytime he opens his mouth and generally behaving in a manner not expected of a Liverpool Manager.
He was always on a hiding to nothing and should never have been appointed. He may be doing his best but it simply is not good enough. HE simply is not good enough and frankly never will be at this late stage in his 35 year (
) career.
As you say, it is not nice seeing all the stick he gets but he really makes it hard not to react and provokes strong reactions by his actions."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

I dont agree with that. I think he's earned enough cash and withn the club he is still being treated with respect.Originally posted by sinbad View PostThe Last place the Owl wants to be is Anfield tomorrow. I think that the club and Roy want to find the most mutually satisfying way of splitting and that does not include money , but rather pride.
this was Roys big job after a long career and unfortunately it hasnt worked out. to suggest Roy is hanging on for a payday is disrespectful.Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield

He does. Also is there a Guiness World Record for the amount of press conferences held in one year? Roy seems to be averaging about a couple every hour.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI don't care if he is the emperor of the LMA, he's the got the verbal ****s.
Roy, just ****ing zip it now, there's a good fellow.Modifying post.

I just saw his interview with LFC tv. Can't help feeling sorry for him too even on a human level. I do just wish he'd **** off though.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI've given him so much stick since the day he was first linked, but being such a soft ****e I still can't help feeling a little bit sorry for him. Thing is, this is completely in his hands. Move 15 to 20 yards up the pitch and we'd be a different outfit in my view.
There'd still problems yes, but we'd have a lot more points on the board and people wouldn't be curtain climbingly desperate for him to go.

Does he have any left after the other day. Honestly Can't remember a top club manager still hanging on after being humiliated by his own fans.Originally posted by 5europeancups View PostI dont agree with that. he desperately wants to succeed at Liverpool, he just doesn't know how to do it. But it's got to the point where clinging on in the hope of turning things around to a respectable level is doing him and his reputation more harm than good. If he goes now, enough people will say that the context and timing worked against him and he can still sit as a pundit on channel 5 Europa league games or something. It's best for us and him for him to go now, whether he knows it or not.

Poor Roy, he's a cunt. Can't be nice being a cunt.
In a way, I find all this amusing. If I wasn't a Liverpool fc fan I'd likely be in stiches. This great gentleman of English football finally being given the big job he has dreamt of all his life. His revolutionary 1970's tactics blowing the opposition away as Liverpool charged into midtable safety. A big **** you to all those that doubted him and a glass of sherry for him and the LMA to celebrate the new year as his success showed that English managers were once again at the very pinnacle of the game.
My word, all this makes me want to stand up and shout "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN"
Forwards.......

The longer he stays the less and less pride he'll have intact. He should jump before he's pushed. But that won't happen IMOOriginally posted by 5europeancups View PostI dont agree with that. I think he's earned enough cash and withn the club he is still being treated with respect.
