He was always on a hiding to nothing and should never have been appointed. He may be doing his best but it simply is not good enough. HE simply is not good enough and frankly never will be at this late stage in his 35 year () career.

As you say, it is not nice seeing all the stick he gets but he really makes it hard not to react and provokes strong reactions by his actions.

I just saw his interview with LFC tv. Can't help feeling sorry for him too even on a human level. I do just wish he'd **** off though.

Thing is, this is completely in his hands. Move 15 to 20 yards up the pitch and we'd be a different outfit in my view.

There'd still problems yes, but we'd have a lot more points on the board and people wouldn't be curtain climbingly desperate for him to go.

he desperately wants to succeed at Liverpool, he just doesn't know how to do it. But it's got to the point where clinging on in the hope of turning things around to a respectable level is doing him and his reputation more harm than good. If he goes now, enough people will say that the context and timing worked against him and he can still sit as a pundit on channel 5 Europa league games or something. It's best for us and him for him to go now, whether he knows it or not.
