Well it's not. We are lacking in a number of positions. I agree though, we have a squad for 5th or 6th in the league (crap league atm moment) and need some steady investment to push back into the CL places. New manager, half decent backing and we could forget the last two seasons pretty quickly, if we keep our better players.

I'm close to giving up on Glen Johnson now.

I've tried to defend him for as long as possible, but his positioning is just pathetic. It was the same under Rafa too, so it's not just Roy's fault.

The guy has HUGE potential, I was hoping he might learn to defend, and go the way of Ashley Cole, but to be honest I'm close to writing him off as a lost cause all together now. He just doesn't seem to have the brains to defend properly.
