Just with all the childish bickering, its so boring and it's just ****ing nonsensical posturing, on what is essentially a messageboard

It feels like the majority of threads that have any reasonable amount of posts in, thereby suggesting some form of debate, only have that amount of posts because of the same old idiots bickering amongst themselves

IMO, this site has always been a little different perhaps in part to its relatively small size and that lots of posters on here have e-known each other since KT days; but for about the last year or so its started to descend into petty little squabbles that are becoming more and more frequent. My mouses scroll button has started to give out on me. Proof if ever it was needed

Ha ha, so that’s why I had them stupid Santa hats on my screen all year round. I thought it was just lazy site maintenance.

It’s been a few days since this happened, and our tardiness is explained by many of the same reasons that were true in the last article. Anyway, Glen Johnson versus Paul Merson. In case you’ve missed it, Glen Johnson used every footballers’ favourite way of getting themselves into trouble – Twitter – to say the following after Merson dared to criticise the Liverpool player’s form:

“Comments from alcoholic drug abusers are not really gonna upset me and who is Paul Merson to judge players, he was average at the best of times. The only reason he’s on that show is coz he gambled all his money away. The clown!”

So ignoring the obvious point about Paul Merson being one of the most technically gifted English players of
his generation, we’ll go right for the heart of this.

If you were part of one of the most shameful English World Cup performances of anybody’s lifetime, and you’re also part of the worst Liverpool team since the beginning of the Premier League – maybe you should keep yourself to yourself a bit more.

One of the most enduring images of the last 1990s, was a tearful Merson acknowledging his demons and his need for help in front of a blood-thristy media. Given the things that we know go on, but are unable to prove about the current crop of players – Merson’s honesty in the face of absolute ridicule becomes more and more heroic as time passes.

Glen Johnson is as worthless as a player as his haircut is stupid.

We like to think that if we were a sensitive Premier League player, and we were suffering an indifferent patch in our form, that we’d avoid watching Soccer Saturday or any other program that analysed the game. So if you’re Glen Johnson, and you’re playing badly for a team that is woefully under-performing – what do you expect to hear if you insist on watching such a program.

Go home, get off Twitter, and learn how to defend you spoilt little child.

would it be better if we were winning and higher up the table?
