Couldn't see (didn't look) for any other threads on the ressies games, but we're 2-0 up against Sunderland, with KK, Clarke and Sammy all watching

Pacheco scored the first with a cracker of a left foot, then set up Saric for the second after a lovely long ball from Spearing
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Did Spearing sign a new contract recently? I remember reading he was to be offered one along with Pacheco maybe (???) but never heard if anything materialised or not.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I really think it's probably time to consider moving Spearing on. For his own good as much as anything else. It's a shame, but I can't see him making the grade with us.

Can't really compare the two as Alonso was a defensive midfielder and Suso's an attacking midfielder.

Alonso rarely got near the opposition box, while Suso is always buzzing about the edge of the opposition box. They're two completely different types of player

He reminds me a lot about Iniesta. The same type of skills and game intelligence. Of course not as good as him but very similar playing style.

I still think he’s a decent squad player and has looked comfortable enough most times when playing for the 1st team. I’d definitely move Poulsen ahead of him, if anything to save on wages and keep him here at least until Shevley matures a bit. That is unless we go out and sign someone else for CM, but I can’t see that being high on the priority list at the minute. I’d say if he doesn’t feature much under Kenny in the next few months, he’ll be looking to leave himself anyway.

That's a very good comparison. He's certainly a completely different player to Alonso

Well Pacheco last night v Sunderland was absolutly excellent. Suso I thought drifted out of the game a lot. Both fullbacks, Flanagan and Robinson were also superb.

                        Pacheco's goal was top class.
