still not convinced by wilson going by his medicore performances at rangers and his brief apperances for us. However, if tonights rumours are to be true and wilson plays left back then good on him and he hope he does well.......but he is not a left back - he is a left sided centre half.
All of my Rangers friends thought he played great for them, havent supported them for years myself but they were all pretty gutted he left.

Sorry but I asked my Rangers friends again and that medicore performances for them is just pure turd, he was great for them and almost the player of the year for them last year.
They want to know why you think he played badly, I almost got slapped for saying it so I wouldnt mind hearing it myself
Wilson played LB v Northampton and was very poor. He's a CB pure and simple but I guess it's needs must when one player is injured (PK) and the other can only really play once a week (FA).
In the end we went with Glen and he's obviously not a LB either.

With all due respect to Kenny, that was a **** decision.
There's nothing wrong with someone who might end up a centre back playing another position. Centre back is such a crucial position it's very risky throwing an inexperienced player in there, so if you don't let them play anywhere else you're really limiting their chances of gaining experience. It's not like a young centre back is going to come off the bench very often to gain a quarter of an hour here or there.
Lots of great centre backs started elsewhere.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I wouldn't hang him out to dry based on the Northampton match as the rest of the team were ****e also. It was a very busy night for the defenders by all accounts
