The thing is the performances were clearly going downhill rapidly with Roy at the helm

Arsenal was probably one of our better performances and it was one of his first games in charge when he hadnt managed to get his tactics over and infect the team

FLMAO he'd been in the job for 3.5 months by then

        Not 5 days

I will say again Roys problem that under him performances regressed they didnt show any upward trend and thats why the knives were out in force

We've had two games under Kenny and for me we've shown improvement in both of those

Yes - he played well. Got to give credit when it's deserved.

Kenny Dalglish has won league titles, FA Cups, doubles and more, for LFC. As a player and a manager.

On what grounds do you think he and Roy Hodgson should be treated the same, FFS?

Maybe do some reading up on our history mate.

Its shocking it really is to make that sort of statement that Rudo has

Some of the critique here is WAY over the top

If Kenny doesnt do enough thats fine he wont get the job but lets not kid ourselves Hodgson has made the job a lot harder than it was back in July

Maybe you need to watch a couple of videos of roy's liverpool team in action. How soon they forget.

i am no convinced, that centre mid is becoming more and more a priority t improve - no fight, no pace, no bite - it's embarrasing - lucas and meireles are just meh....they are average, tidy simple footballers..

dirk dirk dirk - deary me, he's times gone - dreadful performance but he has been like that the last 3 or 4 games - first touch is so bad his second touch is a tackle - he makes the wrong decision every time he is in possesion, he has no pace, offers no threat, no final ball - sorry, cheers for ur hard work and ur professionalism but we have to move on from him now

defence - oh god, what a cluster **** that is - though they got no protection from midfield which was just non existant - hence why i think it is so vital for us to find someone who can do that job

and i aint starting on poulsen or jovanovic

also - very very disappointed we didnt' react sooner - we were struggling well before they scored - kuyt should have been taken off for maxi at half time - and then we should have been looking at ngog for poulsen if needed later on

                  need investment/need players now!
                  Good post

I will concede however that it was good to see a bit more passion, no sure about fight as that disappeared after that world class striker DJ Campbell scored the winner.

We most certainly lack quality to the point that over 180 mins we have been outplayed by a team that has just come up from the Championship, shown how to play the basics of football by a team that has just come up from the Championship and shown how to be a team by a team that has just come up from the Championship and it isn't just down to Roy, it was happening when Rafa was in charge so that's not playing for Rafa after the coming 2nd season, not playing for Roy and so far (and I do admit it is too early but I just don't think these players have got it anymore) not playing for Kenny.

I'm sorry Lec but for me the majority of these players are mid table team players, players we need to get rid of if only to get some new blood in but players that we will probably struggle to sell and if we do manage to sell them we will get what is considered to be a pittance for them.

                    Just my opinion of course.
Some people got ahead of themselves and were talking 4th earlier this week

Never thought we'd get near to that but I still believe top 6 or 7 is possible

Heads went down afte their 2nd goal but before that passion, commitment, desire and pressing was ok

We lack quality no doubt about that but the VAST bulk of this relates back to Roy more than anything

I know someone who works at Melwood (I'm not going to say in what capacity but it isnt the tea lady anyway) and some of the stuff I've been told about the training under Roy is simply mindblowing

For some weeks I've argued that Roy needed to go before his tactics and methods became ingrained in the fabric of the club

Sadly I think some of the problems are already ground into the carpet and its going to take awhile for ANY coach/manager to change that

                      Nothing to do with Roy.

Discussing the last two games, nothing more nothing less.

I went tonight and I thought we played as well as we did against United

We probably didnt defend quite as well though and made a couple of slip ups

General feeling amongst the fans was disappointment at the result but that some positives can come out of it and I tend to agree

Yes, and in the last two games, our performances have been an improvement on the 25 odd before them.
