O'Neill gave the home supporters a good round of applause too which was nice to see.

Today Rafa got his players to play to their potential, more of the same please.
Talk of a monster run is welcome as we have failed to show any consistency in performances and results for a while.

If we win on tuesday night and Gala fail to win in Holland, we're into the next round of the champions league (that means amongst other things, lots of money). Then we have reading at home. We could, this time next week, have won 4 matches in a row.

We ought to win those games I'd just like us to improve our concentration at the back. I'm more confident with Bordeaux than Reading.

Anyone heard about Stevie and Xabi? Are they OK?

couldn't really hear the commentary properly in pub, was Stevie's problem just cramp? Should think Xabi will be fine, be a bit sore in the morning tho.

Gerrard had cramp. Alonso was studded on the shins. Be surprised if nothing worse than a nasty bruise. Lots of ice and he should be ready for tuesday.

Great, wouldn't complain if they were "rotated" on Tuesday

I fully expect either one of gerrard or alonso to be subs on tuesday. Possibley both with zenden and momo running midfield.

I have a hunch we'll play with the same team, bar Agger in defence. If we win this match we're qualified, so Rafa won't take this one lightly ... and to build confidence he'll go for a settled side.

Saw MON on sky sports and he was very complimentary about us.
                          Well done MON

It's VITAL we beat Reading though in my opinion. We should have enough to take Bordeaux without risking both Stevie and Xabi from the beginning.

Yes it's vital we beat them.

Every game is vital now, given our league position. As far as champs league the PSV game is just as important as well, if we want to top the group and have the posibility of a favourable draw, in the last 16
