    Leadership

I asked if you believe that we have the bottle and leadership for a relegation fight a few months ago.

I don't think we have that. We have bottled it since Hyypia and Xabi left.

It's very much about leadership. Do we have a great leader in the team? I would say no. No one that you can point at and say, he is our leader, he is our Captain.

We need to sort that out as soon as possible. Maybe sign up an older player that would add that. Like we did when we signed McAllister. Maybe he will only be here a couple of years but he would add the leadership we don't have.

Dalglish can't do everything himself. We need leaders on the pitch that will lead by example.

Personally i think its about quality and pace, and we just don't have enough of either IMO. Pepe,Carra & Gerrard are leaders.

Everyone already know that my opinion is that Gerrard and Carragher isn't great leaders. They are good leaders but not great.

Many of us see Pepe as our real Captain and leader, not Carra or Gerrard.

Hyypia didn't need to anything special, he just oozed leadership. If he said something then you listened to what he said. He didn't need to say it twice.

That is the kind of leader we don't have. Someone that will unite the dressing room.

I agree. Someone who will pick the players up after a defeat. Gerrard and carragher strike me as the types to point fingers and moan a lot - reducing confidence rather than trying to build it.

Pepe would be a great captain.

As stated the two best outfield leaders didn't play last night and it showed big time.

I think we are seriously over analysing the situation. Simple confidence issue, nothing to do with leadership IMO.

We have enough experienced players on the pitch, and if players are not inspired playing in a Liverpool team alongside Gerrard, then they are at the wrong club. He leads by example - nothing wrong with that, and who has set a better example on the pitch in the last 10 years??

After a bad game it is down to the Manager as well to lift the players. And IMO there is nothing wrong with the Captain, a player of the stature of Gerrard, having a go at those poor performers. If anything it should push them on and give them something to prove.

Our problem is too many players pass the buck on the pitch, expecting Gerrard and Torres to do it every game when they all should be striving to contribute and ensure we get several match winning performances.

couldn't agree more - Kennys main issue is getting the confidence back - will take a bit of time but he'll get there.

                          Hyypia, Pepe and Xabi.

Gerrard doesn't lead by example. Far from it. He is good leader when he decides that he want to be it. He isn't even close to the leadership qualities Hyypia showed every year in match after match.
