Im very happy about this if true. I'm surprised to hear people say he's ****. He made the england squad for the world cup and was a consistant performer under O'Neill. I rate him and I'd have him back happily. Our two weakest positions for the last couple of years have been full back. Kelly and Warnock would improve this. Warnock is a battler and has a bit of steel about him which we lack terribly, he is also very comfortable on the ball.*************************

Making the England squad is not an achievement, especially as there is hardly an abundance of left backs available. He is **** and this is unbelievably unambitious and stinks of mid-table crap.Originally posted by billy_mac View PostIm very happy about this if true. I'm surprised to hear people say he's ****. Let's get Josemi back in while we're at it. **** me.
I agree with Rich. It's not ideal but we are in dire need at LB right now. If we take him as cover for Aurelio until the end of the season then look to buy a first class LB, then I'm fine with it.
At least he get's us, he's a die hard red, and he will give it his all.

He's ****! If he came all that'd happen is he'd come into the side, make mistakes, cost us goals and we'd be stuck in exactly the place we find ourselves now. Total waste of time. We've already binned him for not being good enough once. He's played for two average sides since and been ****e.Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

the cast off bit is a bit OTT.
yes we (rafa i think) let him go because we had riise and aurelio then. Now we've got a part time aurelio, a full time but useless konchesky.
i'd have him back only as cover for aurelio though. Even its only short term he's still the best back up option we have until the summer when insua will be back.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

Ask Baines if its an achievement. What sort of statement is that?

What sort of statement is "he got into the England squad" a lot of **** has made the England squad including Konchesky. He is a mediocre player and wasn't good enough before and isn't good enough now.Originally posted by billy_mac View Post

We've been here with Konchesky. In the summer people got so desperate for a left-back they fooled themselves into thinking "Yeah, he's steady, better than Insua
" and all that cockrot.
Same for Warnock. Just shows how poor and desperate we are.
He's not good enough now. He wasn't good enough before and he's still not good enough. Has no-one noticed how pretty much every time we've played against him since he left, he's gifted us goals?!Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
