Eh? He's forcing errors, getting into space and his passing has been good. He's not the most dynamic player but he's having a good game.

i dunno, but he ****ed few times. he's simply not strong enough.......

He's a pivot, the play goes through him, but I agree that he doesn't like to be bullied. Not a criticism of him, it just doesn't suit him. Spearing's not offering much protection along side him at the moment, he's roaming all over the field like a nutter and it's leaving Lucas slightly exposed.

He'll be fine once Miereles is alongside him again which I think is the long term plan

much better performance. we are improving which is good. i still think we need players and to carry on doing lots or work in training.

but Torres looks better and we look more fluent and confident. hope the bitters dont get one as that could knock confidence but the signs of improvement are there which is good.

Strong first half performance by the Pool.

Kelly has been superb again, after a nervy start Spearing has settled in nicely to the midfield doing the scrappy stuff. Kuyt's always been involved with our best moves - doesn't surprise me as he always does in the big games, in form or not.

Mehreles is such a big pansy at times, chickening out of tackles left, right and centre, Gave the ball away countless times too but fair play to him, great finish.
