That means putting Gerrard in the middle though, but the alternative is sacrificing Meireles as a forward. At least we're seeing positive selection problems now and not negative ones

I must also say, I saw nothing from Jarvis to suggest he is anything but a mid-table player. I was disappointed with how poor Kelly was with him in the second half, he was the weak link and I think it needed addressing.

Refreshing to see us try to play. Thought things looked encouraging for much of it.

Still worried defensively though and in the main these worries centre on Skrtel.

Stand out players were Meireles, Lucas, Kelly, and Torres.

Couple of signings and we could make a very late charge up the table.

Also GJ as LB is not working. Kenny will need to play him upfront instead of Kuyt or not play him at all.

Wow! That was a great display when you take everything into account, missing Gerrard, we seem to have a mental block away from home, a ref who despises us etc etc etc. Brilliant performance really, City lost there, Chelsea lost there and Arsenal won there but should have lost by about 6.

That last goal was sensational. Also, I wish people wouldnt moan so much about team selections, yes it didnt look great but we have a proper manager now.

I said thank god that Johnson wasn't as busy as Kelly as he is defensively criminal, and that appaently sickened Matt as it was a personal attack

brilliant result.

at times some brilliant play and some of the football was outstanding.

however, still plenty to work on. defensively we were stretches at times but wolves arent a bad side. they scored 3 against city and never lie down.

still need more options on the flanks and central midfield is still a concern. we're still not dominating matches as we are used to doing and maybe it wont be adresses now but certainly in the summer we need better players for the central areas.

anyway, im going to enjoy this with a brain spinning cobra zero !

I agree with that.

If it wasn't help coming from Kuyt and Lucas, Kelly would have been truly exploited.

Kelly was ok today, gave Jarvis too much space. But no comparison between the defensive capablities of Kelly vs Johnson.

You have been defending Johnson vehemently and you will continue to do so. Thats your perogative, my perogative is whats best for LFC, and Kelly is at RB, and apparently King Kenny seems to agree
