what im basically saying is that his time with us has been a difficult one - that any player would struggle with. bit like saying that torres was very poor and couldnt do the basics. We knew it was because he had no service and was utterly demoralised but still, he looked very average and his value was plummeting. the first part of this season we clearly didnt see the best of him.

PFK hasnt been able to play to his best for one reason or another so its clearly time to move away. it just hasnt worked out.
The thing is though PFK played Roys system at Fulham

The same system and tactics Roy was implementing here

    He still ****ing struggled

Now you can blame those around him for being poor / not performing but he should know what is expected and really should be able to come across as someone who is comfortable within that system

To me he never showed that and if anything he actually looked as much if not more of a liability than others in the back four

Contrast that to Martin Kelly a young lad with little experience who was made to look world class under Hodgsons system (when compared to PFK)
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

The media can write what they like about who and what they like now and I don't give a flying **** because the King is back in charge.

And as Sky are finding out regularly no-one, absolutely no-one ****s with LFC with Kenny in charge.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I know someone who's a Fulham fan and he told me that PFK was horribly inconsistent back there, one day distinctly average and another day distinctly ****e. He's consistently been ****e since he's been here though.
        Are we winning?

It's bollocks, an indirect dig in the ribs for us lfc fans.

PFK will go to another club, pick up a nice wage, with a nice going away present from us and a nice coming to join present from his new club in the form of a new contract, it's not like he's a young player starting out..he's an ordinary journey man ffs, his family won't suffer, he won't suffer and most of all...WE won't suffer!

ffs, i'm getting fed up of all these guilt trips the media are trying to pin on us fans and this club, it's about what's best for lfc.

I do think people need to be more objective and respectful. He wasn't up to the job for a number of reasons but he did his best for the club.

The people who removed RB and appointed him made the biggest mistake and they deserve the vitriol.

As was the case with Hodgson, we should never have brought in Konchesky, he was never going to be good enough. You can't blame him for coming here it was a once in a lifetime opportunity but he was out of his depth from the start.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

too right, i think even the media have a bit too much respect for Kenny to treat him like they did Rafa.

It's good to be a Liverpool fan and having a living legend like Kenny in charge, as a relatively young man i'm glad to have the chance to experience that

it's not like he's done or said anything to warrant that kind of behaviour from fans, he's just not good enough and to his unfortune epitemizes the Hodgson era.

In general I agree with this. I do however think he should get credit where it is due too. It is clearly much less than the criticism he deserves anyway.
Everything Hodgson did was poor - history proves he is the worst manager we've ever had

Credit? Sure, name one thing he should get credit for....
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

The only thing I would give him credit for is being so incompetent that he forced FSG’s hand in appointing Kenny, and he lowered expectations so much that Kenny was given the job under virtually no pressure. Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the season, as long as Kenny keeps us fans smiling, his reappointment will be deemed a success.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
