I think 5th is the best we can hope for but 6th is much more likely.

Edit: Actually missed the fact Spurs have a game in hand. Yeah 6th is realistically the best we can hope for without any freakish occurences.

Not really. Chelsea could win the champions league, and then finish 5th.

I know im clutching at straws here but if an english team wins the champions league, will the premiership get an extra spot?
If a team wins it outside of the top 4 then only 3 places go to the league. So we can dream...

If Arsenal win the Carling Cup then 6th will be good enough to get us into the Europa League again!!

(Disclaimer:- Should Arsenal finish in the top 5)

Well if that happens, only the top three in the league will qualify for the champions league. Can't see Chelsea not finishing in the top four tbh.

The rules were changed after we won it.

We have to play Chelsea in 2 games at Stamford Bridge if we won there we could get 4th. that would put us 6pts behind with them having a game in hand but have to play the mancs twice.

I do think that Chelsea are over there blip though and 4th is gone. I could see the penultimate game of the season being a 5th place decider

5th I hope. Based on the expectation of things falling apart for Spurs at some stage. If Chelsea didn't seem to be arresting their slide I might have even dreamt of 4th (actually I still do).

Spurs form this season means they average 1.65 points per game, last season they averaged 1.84 points per game, they aren't having the best of seasons, but I think they can get better, I don't expect them to fall apart.

5th. Would be acceptable considering how ****e 1st half of season was.

5th or 6th depending on Torres' form.
