I thought he looked a little lost too. I was a bit disappointed Johnson didn't get a bit further forward too.

Best we've played for a while. Nice crisp passing and lovely movement from the team. Good performances all round. Kuyt MOM. Agger was excellent breaking from the back and makes such a difference against teams that are sitting deep. Good games from Johnson and Aurelio too.

I also thought Lucas was absolutely top-class: always moving, always offering himself for the ball, laying it off and moving again. Realy kept the midfield ticking over. He was made for pass and move football.

And that sub eh. I thought he didnt look completely fit actually ... cant wait til he's in peak condition

He wanted the ball all the time and worked his socks off. Excellent passing game. His best game this season by a mile

Football has been fantastic as well but we could still play much much better. Aurelio & Lucas have done excellent in CM today, Kuyt played really well too. Then there's Glen Johnson who is starting to look the quality player he is, even at left back.

After hating football for a few days i LOVE it again....albeit after a win against Stoke. The future's looking great again

I think i love Suarez already......i'm positive he'll be a success. He was brilliant at the World Cup IMO and is possibly the best finisher in world football, though he nearly fecked that one up tonight.

Yeah. I think we could do with resting Kelly for the odd game as he's looked a bit tired in recent matches. Dont want him getting Insua-itis.

3-5-2 or 3-4-3 was pretty standard as a counter to 4-4-2 with two wingers. Rafa used the latter in similar situations a far amount, especially before we had a really strong CM partnership and Torres up top.

to think that he's a centre back by trade and he's played on the right and today almost right wing.

he put in some decent crosses, fought for every ball and never gave up. The lads done alright

The Sky guffreader didn't explain it. The radio commentary gave it to Suarez.

I can tell you no more.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Another good, decent, honest performance. We have good players and we have a good management structure now to get the best out of them.

Actually thought our formation was excellent in nullifying Stoke's aerial bombardment. Krygiakos did well, and the formation put less pressure on Skrtel, so he performed better too.

We're still lacking for pace but I'm pleased we're working hard as a team.

Nice to see Suarez. Few nice touches and the goal should set him off.

Fair play, enjoyed watching the game tonight! Kenny just confirming now that Suarez hasn't trained with the team yet! Big things to come from Saurez! Got to be given to him, it was on its way in, the defender was...well...defending and trying to stop it...Sky given it to Suarez I think...
