I'm happy for the mancs to win the league even if we get 5th or 6th, it's got to go at some stage and it's getting like a millstone now anyway, we'll get it back at some stage

of course I would be ecstatic if we got 4th at the expense of chelsea, we are still a pull for a lot of players whereas chelsea are much less so, players are more lilely to go there because they want to live in london

I have an interest in how our rivals do, where it has a direct bearing on us.

Obviously i dont want the mancs to win the title, but my priorities are what's best for LFC first and everything else a very distant 2nd.

With regards the United winning the 19th title and over taking us....Whilst i don't want it to happen, and don't like saying so - it's been on the cards for a number of years and do you know what **** it....it's been coming, i'd rather it just happened and they over took us now - as i am hoping that, it might finally drag our sorry arses back to reality a bit and may be the catylst for the club to pull their finger out and do everything we can to 'get back on our ****ing perch'

Lets be honest, it's hard to take and hard to stomach, but we have been clinging onto the "18 league titles" for over 15 years now

Anyway - my point was, united are going to get to 19 before we do.....but, if we got 4th and therefore champions league next season - with the added money and attraction it brings, we'd be much more likely to improve our squad this summer, giving us a better a chance of no. 19 next season.

Plus - maybe it's wishful thinking, but if United did finally knock us off our perch this season, maybe it sparks the club into going out there and doing everything to get it back

I too think (maybe hope ) that once he goes, van der sar goes, neville, giggs, scholes, - it will have a massive impact on the club - plus been rumours that evra and vidic are eyeing moves to spain, ferdinand looks like he is crocked, - they could be in big trouble.


Knowing their/our luck tho - they will get put out by a billionaire, all the above will go but mourinho will take over in the summer and be given £300m to rebuild the squad.
