People are expecting way too much

I never seriously thought 4th place was a go I think 5th/6th at best

Long term the club has to do better against these sort of teams but this year has been so ****ed up regarding lesser teams getting results against top teams. A decent side putting these teams to the sword week in week out would romp this league (I dont even put United in that category)

completely agree, i'd be delighted with a strong 5th or 6th finish.

Neither do I but I think the Champions League was an enormous ask

Even prior to yesterday's result we were 6 points behind with the 2 teams above us with a game in hand

That is in all likelihood a 9 point gap

no not 4th .....but a good finish for the remainder of this season and having carol getting a few games as well then the addition of some players in the summer maybe adams,young or another wide/creative player/s then next season 4th should be achievable

I wouldn't, getting into the EL is much better than no European games at all.
