yes, absolutely, all credit to kenny. aside from the past year and a half or so we've been blessed with managers who have gotten a ton out of the players at their disposal, but if we're going to really kick on, we need to up the class of players we have in some areas so that it isn't just a purple patch.dave of mutilation

Comedy Gold.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostThat's not what I meant, he didn't really have to 'coach them' how to defend, just going back to what they were doing not so long ago. Comprendo?

Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing has told LFC Weekly about the big impact that First Team Coach Steve Clarke is having on the team:
“Under him the pace of training has changed. He wants us to do things quicker. That’s helped us to play at a better tempo in games.”
Spearing believes the combination of Clarke’s training methods and the team spirit encouraged by Kenny Dalglish has helped the team to its recent upturn in form:
“I think there was going to be a point in the season when it all clicked together and we started to play the way we should be and winning the games we should be. Slowly it’s coming together under Kenny and Steve and we’ve got to continue that now. The atmosphere is good around the place again. You arrive in the morning and people are buzzing.”_____________________________________
