we desperately need someone out wide who has any threat because kuyt and maxi were **** again. I'd even have nzogbia on our left hand side.

its a real letdown. im desperately disappointed.
McCarthy and N'Zogbia... two players i'd have in the Liverpool squad without a doubt.

Good 1st half but just did not build on it in the second half in which we were very poor.

A chicken would be cheaper though...........so I'd always go for the chicken.

Messing aside......Jova will get the usual abuse because, let's face it, he deserves it, but it's only a small point in that overall poor performance from everybody.

Plenty of effort, we just lacked the quality today. No proper striker, no Gerrard, No agger, no winger.

This result will certainly put hush to the knee jerk 4th shouts. Typical stuff from us it has to be said. On the bright side i thought Suarez was fantastic, movement on him is tremendous just nobody up there to see his runs, Kuyt had an astonishing mare today, Lucas looked knackered, we missed Gerrard & Agger ball playing abilities something desperately and of course Meireles coming off was a blow.

Our bench was shocking, and Ngog and Jovo was abysmal. Johnson,Kuyt and Maxi could be easily replaced next season IMO or used more sparingly. Reality check but sure its a point and i think we need to shut up talking about 4th place and just concentrate on finishing strong this year.

P.S. LFC linked, Nzogbia was super for Wigan again today.

We don't know that do we? From what was reported, we never made a bid for him.

Jovanovich hasn't played for a long time, he was never going to be a world beater after coming on. We're a bit thin, squad wise but we've lost Meireles, Gerrard, Agger and Carroll through injuries, which is a lot to ask for a lot of squads.

Losing Raul didn't help matters. Lucas dallies to long at times but getting better. Luis Suarez is a cheat much like Ronaldo, I suppose it'll be a change having one on our team although I hope Kenny and tell him to cut the dives out. Kelly had another good game as did Carra. Carra made some great blocks. Kuyt up front is much better than out wide. Although his passing was piss all game. Jova is ****. Ngog needs more games. We didn't lose, we're still a work in progress, onwards and upwards.

One last thing, those predicting a comfortable victory, have they not been watching the PL this year? Shocks are two a penny. You can never flick through the fixtures and say thats a banker.

suarez looks good and could have won the game twice. looks more eager to go down than shoot atm moment though.

calm down lads, we played well, they got their goal via offside, suarez hit the post. the desire was there and if we play with this kind of hunger in our next games we'll win 90% of them.

what maybe was lacking was a natural goalscorer, and with carroll soon to be fit we'll have that aswell.

                            cannot disagree with that whatsoever.

McCarthy would be a terrific holding midfield player for us and nzogbia would be fab out wide.

a real chance to make up ground on the top 4 with games running out and thats just not good enough.

their goal looked offside but its hard to tell on a **** stream with a 2" view.

Apart from Suarez there was no imagination to break down the Wigan defence, it was all to obvious/simple like going through the motion thinking it was an easy win, seemed like that but my stream wasn't the best
