Unfortunately highlights some of the vermin we have "supporting" us nowadays. Great we're through, wasnt pretty but it aint likely to be until Gerrard and Carroll can play together in this.

It's obviously not ideal being in this competition as opposed to the CL, but we haven't won anything for five years so I'll happily take this trophy. I'm sure those saying otherwise would change their mind if we get to the final in Dublin. That would be pretty cool and our fans would no doubt take over the place for the duration

As I said in the match thread, we're not in a position to be fussy about competitions. Winning any trophy is a great achievement.
