Emlyn was Mr. Liverpool at the time, the Kop adored him,he showed guts and an out and out will to win.Crazy Horse screaming towards the Kop,ball at feet was a sight to behold.I'm sorry man but it;s his song.
But i it's never sung again it will slowly be forgotten about, at least if it was sang about Kuyt it would be keeping the song going, and people would in turn remember Emlyn.
However it his song, and maybe some would feel better if Kuyt earned the right to have it sung about him.

It's still sung in the Albert... where I will be tomorrow night

Could be over reacting a bit, just brought back some great memories
What a ****ing dumbass. I had no ****ing clue it was from that Quinn the Eskimo song. I was wondering what the **** it was going on about in the first two lines
The song "Mighty Quinn" was a hit round about '65 for a group called Manfred Mann (who covered a lot of Dylan stuff), It was this hit coupled with the emergence of Crazy Horse that was the birth of the Mighty Emlyn song
Ok history lesson over ............please all turn to page 101 of your maths book
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"
Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"
Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"
