No way they would fill at 70,000 stadium. And they know it.

If 15k of the 25k waiting list would buy a season ticket, which i think is easily do-able we would fill 60k and that doesn't include doing anything with the other people who would buy a ST or tickets for general sale.

If we sold enough season tickets for a 70k stadium we would still have loads of occasions when the stadium was not full as i doubt some ST holders would go to all games anyway.

I found out on the last day of application that they had sent my letter to a previous address, even after they had written me a letter last year confirming that they had changed it. Luckily, they gave me a code which I had to enter online and confirmed that I am on the "updated" waiting list.

It still won't be until the new stadium is built that we get offered one though.

Not sure the maths work that way. I said yes but go to virtually every home game now. So if there is a significant number like me then it would not work as you say. For sake of argument say 50% of the 15k are like me then only a 7.5k increase and another 10k would need to be found.

the other thing i suppose it how many people that now dont bother going or trying to go would think about it beacuse they think its easier to get tickets in a bigger stadium

plus if we win things then more people will want to come.

I am not sure what capacity we should go for. 60k sounds ok but maybe a little bit bigger?

Personally I think its a good thing. Im on there, but only registered in 2005. I have about 5 friends who all want to share one. But it looks like it will be a few years before we even get close.

Me my Bro and Dad have been on the list since 98...... 13 Years this year! In that time i have seen 4 mates get season tickets who have not been on the list due to being passed it from a friend or family member

We all got the letter and paid the £5. If im not in the top 2000 i will be very very upset! ha

I think the £5 just separates the wheat from the chaff and make the club some extra cash in the mean time.

If we had a large enough stadium where tickets were readily available on general sale would less people be interested in a season ticket?
                    We come not to play.

If they sell the extra season tickets then it surely doesn't matter if they all show up. The seat is paid for either way.

perhaps they know you as Kenny will be a disaster and thought you would never be allowed out to watch a game

So you guys that have not heard anything, have you moved house and not told the club?

It's probably not top of the priorities when moving house.

                            That would explain it possibly.
                            Oh I don't know.

Nope I told them. I have emails from them informing them of every change since I have been on the list in 2001.

                              They are just ****

I'm not on the waiting list, nor will I bother getting on it. But if season tickets became available I'd get one, no doubt about it.

I no plenty of other lfc fans who think the same and i'm sure there are plenty others of the same mindset.

I've never bothered with the list as people have been on years with no joy and I'm not mad keen enough to care either way.

I'm pretty sure that lfc would fill a 70k stadium for league games. Big cup matches also.

And whilst we tend to have a short fall in the lesser games, I'm sure we'd get more people with a bigger stadium. I turned up at Anfield once for a no mark European game, travelled 60 miles from where I was living at the time, and me and my couldn't get a ticket - sold out. I was amazed.

I only travel now if I have a guaranteed ticket! I know I'd go to more games if I could just turn up and get a ticket though.
                                Forwards.......
