If anyone has watched us this season, they will have noticed that we have battered everyone apart from the Manc's on our travels, and only picked up 1point, through a combination of poor finishing and poor defending.
That is all, nothing else.
If we'd have taken our chances, we wouldn't be sprouting bollocks about rotation etcetera, etcetera.
Yeah, we've had a poor start, but that's been due to our inability to convert chances than poor performances.
I'd be more concerned if we'd played the last 10 games or so like we did against Manchester.Reece, get off my wife.:whatever:

Perhaps you could forward this quote from the echo to him also. With special reference to the text in bold."We understand the expectations at Liverpool but we are clearly moving in the right direction under Rafael Benitez," said Parry. "We unquestionably have a better squad than we did last year so it is not about making judgements at this stage.
"There are no trophies handed out at the end of October, with the exception of the Community Shield which we have already won. You can only judge our performance over the course of a full season. We all knew there was a sizeable job to do when Rafa was appointed and that is why we have never laid down any timescales."

I reckon he has a point about certain players Rafa's brought in and the way we approach games, especially away. The fear of defeat always seems apparent. We're just too negative.
We won't win the league until this changes. As much as it pains me too say it, the scum and demento have got this aspect spot on, same with the Chavs.I hate Polanski

I agree. Looking at the Mancs, they have very average players (Wes Brown, Kieron Richardson, etc.) believing that they are good enough to be winning the PL over Chelsea.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquintI reckon he has a point about certain players Rafa's brought in and the way we approach games, especially away. I appreciate that we have battered everything we have come up against but in the end that counts for nought and doesn't happen to the Mancs.

To be fair its a reasonably objective opinion from most CFC fans. Considering some of the far-fetched myopic opinions I hear from LFC fans about CFC, MUFC etc etcOriginally posted by ChronoAfter forwarding on the Echo article to a Chelsea colleague, I recieved the following:
Significant though that Liverpool finally start playing to their potential once they are out of the title race.
Which goes to show they have a mental block about winning the thing.
And for that you have to blame F.S.W.
Just like Ranieri was a decent coach but fundamentally not a winner, F.S.W. can’t install that “we’re the best” belief that separates the great teams from the rest.
Even Ferguson’s got his team believing they can win the league even though they probably can’t. And I think Liverpool are better equipped than Man U in all respects
Except mentality.
The feud thing may or may not be true, Gerrard wants out and Benitez (F.S.W.) wants him out (presumably to get £20M in to buy more Spaniards) but neither of them can be seen to be the one to cause the departure – as the Liverpool fans will be sending death threats. They need to concoct some sort of ‘mutual agreement’ story.
Might have a point on the mentality side...Are you the Judean People's Front?
