In fact, I think it might be 3 at the back with Spearing WB. That's what I'm going for.

I'm going to guess the back four is what we would expect and that Poulsen will drop back into the centre of defence to cover if Johnson or Carragher get caught up pitch (which if they go forward I would expect both to do).
I'd imagine that Spearing and Lucas will be asked to create movement and angles from deep to allow quick balls up to Cole and Meireles playing off Kuyt.
Doesn't look a great team though does it. We are one or two CMs short of having good enough depth in that area."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

We are proper up against it in this competition, we all know the squad isnt great, our best attacker can never play and a knock or two leaves us looking pretty ****ed, I would be absolutely over the moon with a draw.
Poulsen is so bad though he makes it 12 on 10, its going to be ridiculously tough.

He's been decent enough since Kenny came. Not good enough but not a handicap. Certainly I worry more about Spearing than him.Originally posted by Chris View PostWe are proper up against it in this competition, we all know the squad isnt great, our best attacker can never play and a knock or two leaves us looking pretty ****ed, I would be absolutely over the moon with a draw.

I’ve convinced myself that we’re gonna see Spearing at RWB and he’ll put in a MOTD performance reminiscent of a young Stevie G.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostOfficial:
Reina, Carragher, Johnson, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos, Lucas, Poulsen, Spearing Cole, Meireles, Kuyt.
Subs: Gulacsi, Pacheco, Carroll, Wilson, Ngog, Maxi, Flanagan.
I just can't understand the team selection otherwise, especially with Maxi and Pacheco on bench. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He's been an absolute disgrace, lets not forget he had to be subbed v Wolves as he become a liability after an ok first half, he also put on one of the worst individual displays ive ever seen at home to Sparta. Spearing is so much better than him but he's not good enough either.Originally posted by dww View PostHe's been decent enough since Kenny came. Not good enough but not a handicap. My guess is that he thinks that Lucas and Spearing will do a better job breaking up play and putting some energy into midfield. A or 3-4-3/3-5-1-1 would be an interesting choice.Originally posted by RedReet View PostI’ve convinced myself that we’re gonna see Spearing at RWB and he’ll put in a MOTD performance reminiscent of a young Stevie G.
