    Reds on-loan - progress report

This is a thread to help us keep an eye on LFC players who are out on loan. Feel free to add any stats or match reports that feature our esteemed loanee, as we attempt to keep track of their progress. Or lack of it.

Florent Sinama-Pongolle - Recreativo de Huelva
    Anthony Le Tallec - Sochaux
    Darren Potter - Wolverhampton Wanderers
    Daniel O'Donnell - Crewe Alexandra
    Scott Carson - Charlton Athletic
    Salif Diao – Stoke City
    Djibril Cisse - Marseille

Any more? Is Nardiello on loan or did he go permanently?

    Thought Pongolle was sold?
Such an ugly face, such an ugly mouth.

Is he not on loan but it's the last year of his contract so it's as good as being sold/let go?

Technically Kirkland and Cisse are both loans I think, just with options to buy
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
        Mine angry and defrauded young?

you sure you mean Nardiello, rather than calliste?

calliste is a goner i think.

Cisse is the only one missing from the list, no one else still on LFC books on loan.

Might want to keep a track of Barragan as well, I know he's not loan but we might go back for him.

Yeah forgot Cisse - definitely a loan for now - and yeah Morph....possibly worth keeping tabs on Barragan too. Lovely deal we struck there, in theory at least. I fail to see how a young Spanish lad who totally failed to settle over here would want to come back.

Calliste went to Scunthorpe permanently but I don't know whether Michael Nardiello's loan to West Brom was permanent, loan or trial.

Don't quote me, but I think we released Nardiello, and then West brom picked him up after a trial

potter is doing ok at wolves he's played a lot on the right and not cm where he's prefer(remind u of anyone)
but it would seem he's going to be going there on a permanent deal soon.

As well realistically the only ones likely to come back -asside from Diao who you know will end up coming back in jan, are:

                        O'donell and Carson.

And of those two probably only Carson will get a place in the squad.

Also don't know if you want to add the loan period length, but they are all 12 months asside from diao and o'donell who will be back in Jan.

Pongolle's been doing really well in Spain, scored a few crucial goals and has looked very lively whenever he's played.

Always liked Pongolle, thought he was a little hard done by with us tbh, never had a run in the side but always looked worth one when ive seen him.

Never too late i suppose but doesnt look like he'll be here come the end of the season.
