Thanjk you.

OK you miserable ****wit, I did and it was the world-beaters Levante.
And according to the stats Sinama-Pongolle isn't even in the top ten goalscorers in La Liga Division One where the leading scorer is that great centre forward Freddie Kanoute. Yes, the same ****ing Freddie the Flop from Tottenham. Further down the list - but still well ahead of Flo - is our very own ex-failure Fernando Morientes. A couple of seasons ago the top scorer in La Liga was none other than Diego ****ing Forlan who even the most biased of Mancs would agree was absolutely ****ing woeful in the Premiership.
I realise you always believe you know better than Rafa but if he doesn't think Sinama-Pongolle is good enough then who are we to argue?

Rafa has told Flo there is a place in the squad for him next season.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs
I'm pleased for Pongy, but I just don't think he's good enough to ever be any more than a backup for us, someone you bring off the bench to try and shake things up with 10 mins left. At least it's helping his value though.
"the correct decision would have been a penalty for us a red card for Gattuso and a yellow for Stevie"
LF Clove aka AFII 11/10/07
"i personally hold you and several other gob****es responsible for the chaos this club is in"
I'll be happy. He's a more than useful backup and always changed the game when he came on as a Sub
Flo has said it himself a few weeks back, he said that Rafa told him he still sees him as part of his plans and wants him back at the club next season, dont ask me for the article, i dont carry them on me lol.
but I know Flo did say that, and i think Rafa said something similar aswell.

Pongolle popped up with another one tonight, albeit a penalty.
That's 8 goals in 19 games this season, extremely impressive considering only 11 of those have been starts, in a fairly average Recreativo Huelva side.
If Pongolle is willing to come back next season as a fourth choice striker, I think Rafa should consider it, if not I hope we get a decent price for him, anything over 4m would be acceptable...
I think he's just clearly more suited to spanish football. Having said that, he's a far better option than fowler, so with the strikers we currently have, he'd be an improvement on our current 4th choice.
Not ultimately good enough though IMO. Especially if we're supposedly 'minted' now.

Syd, let's be honest, Dunk would be a better option than Fowler.
I think FSP is a decent young player and he might still develop into a great player (unlike his cousin) but I can't see him getting back in our squad next season. I believe Rafa will use him as a makeweight in a deal to attract a bigger name like Torres or Villa for next season. That's why he loaned him to a small Spanish team not an English or French side IMHO...
