All the way through, he was chuckling away.. when we got the throw in he said some famous last words "..shall we crack the champagne open early lads.."

I was pissed when this was scored and i was dancing around and managed to slip on our fireplace and chip my coccyx couldn't sit down for about 2 weeks, but still one of my favorites , along with the John Barnes solo goal.

i remember an Ian Rush volley (back in early 80s, i think??, maybe against Luton in the FA Cup??) it was a perfect volley, ball came across him and he found the far corner, it was a fantastic goal... does any body else remember this goal? I've tried to find a link, but can't.....

I remember being at a home match against Norwich in my yoof and watching big Han absolutely hammer one in from 25 yards. Still a firm fave now.
