Lets hope that is a good sign for our spending plans this summer. I am sure the club is making decent money and we did not really spend anything (net) in January so I would expect at the very least a £50m outlay.

King Kenny prepared to wait before being crowned

Kenny Dalglish has revealed his future as Liverpool manager is unlikely to be resolved until the summer.

The temporary Reds boss said: “I’m perfectly relaxed about the position.

“I’m just happy to be here and given performances like that the other night against Manchester City, maybe it’s correct we have to wait until the end of the season for talks.

“I’m not bothered whatsoever. It’s not my decision about the future. I can only look forward to Sunday.

“If it sounds boring, it’s even worse for me because I have to keep repeating it.”
