Messi's younger than Iniesta i think, but Iniesta is certanly not old. Both seem to have been around for ages though, and they just keep churning them out. Cant see anything but Barca domination in spain and europe for a good while.

And believe me, I don't underestimate Barca one bit, I just wonder after consecutive years of success, can the hunger still remain. Even Pep often seems to indicate that he wants out while at the top.
Pellegrini did a superb job points-wise, but it's too early to say that he out-performed Mourinho, as this season is obviously still going and Real Madrid could still amass a total of 100 points if they won 9 games.

I dont think anyone 'guarantees' success. But Mourinho, with the right backing and environment (and not put up against an impossible task, as upstaging Barca is), would be as close to a guarantee as you can get IMO.

The biggest problem with Mourinho is surely that he is a total cunt though?

I'd be interested to know what kind of backing you think he'd need and what kind of timeframe...

All the signs are the owners are willing to spend big in the summer, and i'm sure that'll apply regardless of who the manager is.

I'd be massively shocked if wasn't Kenny, and even more shocked if it was Mourinho.
Because our budget is unlikely to be as high as he got used to.

The above in bold may or may not come true if he were appointed but, come on bud, do you really think that our famous Club and Fans would really want such a arrogant and patronising cunt like him in charge of our Club whilst demanding a massive transfer kitty too? personally, i think we have already got the ideal man in charge, Kenny is the only special one who will deleiver number 19 and so one without all the bull **** etc, that maureen will bring with him.

Have faith anfieldanfield mate and look forward to a much brighter future under King Kenny

But he is scum and should **** off and never be let anywhere near our club as it would be insulting to have such a prick as manager.

100% agreed love him or loathe him he would win us the league IMO and i would pay through the bollocks to get him as gaffer at LFC.

but again 100% agreed in a straight up fight between kenny and jose there is only 1 true special one . . . . . the king

however, if for some reason our owners do not give kenny the long term deal he deserves, there is only 1 man i want to replace him - mourinho.

I would actually like to see Jose at United and Rafa back here one day. Would be interesting when the fair play rules kick in, to see who would best who on a relatively level playing field.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That's one of my biggest fears.

Personally don't think Fergie will be retiring any time soon and even if he was, imo The Special One won't go there unless he is assured that he'll get proper backing and that will not happen unless they are purchased by Qatar royal family.

Mr Fergurson's reign will end when he dies, simples. Maureen is likely to end up at Citeh as he needs bankrolling

I too think Cityh is his most likely destination.

                                I wouldn't go that far.
