where do i begin well lets keep it simple. had a quick look back on this thread and you seem to think pointing out the negatives about Rafa is nit picking. Some may say balanced. sorry something as easy as that is obviously patronising. If you dont want to acknowledge his failings fine but he has them and stop being a little childish when someone does acknowledge them and trying to say its patronising. of course its more intelligent to go Rafa is great and got nothing wrong, then the other side can go he was **** etc. Thats been really intelligent and has been great to read on here.

the debate some of us less myopic than yourself are having is that he has fallen out with more than one owner infact has fallen out with 3 at his last three clubs and some people (stupid i know) but form the opinion he may have handled it better and that may have benefited him and the clubs he has worked at. however your right Rafa is god Rafa is **** is a much more intelligent debate.

Why would you try to balance out arguments against Rafa in the first place? He has deserved that people cut him a bit of slack, just for doing what he did for the club, especially the way he has embraced the Liverpool way, which for a foreigner is not an easy thing to do. Is concentrating on the positives of an individual, exhibit characteristics akin to myopia? I don't think so.

I have moved on for a long time, don't know why some people are so willing to bring this debate on time and again. It's been done to death.

Compare that with Fergie who is very much a yes man that is to afraid to challenge Glazer. He is the biggest reason to why Glazer hasn't sold up yet IMO.

If he had challenged them then they would have been gone without any doubt at all but he don't want to risk his job doing it.

Rafa challenged our board and helped us to get rid of them.

Do you really think that if Ferguson had stood up to Glazer, Glazer would be the one to go? Glazer would have either sacked Ferguson or made it difficult for Ferguson to work there forcing him to resign/retire. Yes that might be unpopular with the fans, but Glazer is in it to make money IMO he wouldn't let Fergsuon stand in the way of that.
