If Spurs win the CL and finish 5th....

Will the team in 4th place (Chelsea or City) lose their CL spot and if Spurs do win , who gets the place (5th place finisher) in the Europa Cup?

    - the 4th team in the league loses their champions league spot and goes into the europa - so for example

    1st - arsenal - Champions League
    2nd - Man Utd - Champions League
    3rd - Man City - Champions League
    4th - Chelsea - Europa League
5th and winners of Champions League - Spurs - Champions League

Plus europa spots to Birmingham and the fa cup winner/runner up

Yes the 4th place team will lose their CL spot. My assumption would be that in that case the 4th place team would get the Europa league place that would have gone to 5th.

pretty sure thats how it will work, and we'd have too finish 5th for europa football, 4th for champions league (or europa league if the 5th placed team won the champions league)

imagine how gutting that would be - overtook spurs and chelsea and finished 4th - but then spurs won the champions league and finished 6th Place - we'd drop into Europa league - and chelsea would be out of europe

          What if Spurs won it?

They are a better team than out 2005 team.

              There is one possible.

If City win the FA cup and finish 5th, the remaining Europa spot would go to 6th place.

If Man Utd win it the place goes to the cup runners up, as it will if City win it and finish in the top 4.

If Bolton or Stoke win the cup then they get the Europa spot.
              Forwards.......

This is the most likely possibility. If they get past manU the cup is theirs.

Would it not still go to FA cup runners up.

This is all rather moot as Spurs won't win the Champions League while I have a hole in my arse

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
