It's pathetic isnt it? It's all about 'gambling' and 'excitement', risks and suchlike - but only on the part of the punter, not the cowardly bookie

I think we can do 14 or 15 points. Nothing more than that.

Draw at best vs City, and a lose away to Arsenal.

Overall though i think we'd have done very well to finish 6th considering the first half of the season. Still a big turnaround.

This is the Che Guevara format -

Draw at best v City? Why's that then? They have a good home record but they're poor away. They'll likely be difficult to break down as they set up very compact in important games, but they are nothing to fear.

I think we have more a chance of winning than losing to them.
                    Forwards.......

It's only guesswork Danny, not saying we definitely can't get, say 20 points out of a possible 24 which would be an excellent achievement.

Just think with the City match our lack of real width might be our downfall - can see coming to Anfield and making it tight and giving very little away.
They tend to play fairly narrow themselves. Predict a 0-0.

Reckon we'll have more of a chance of beating Spurs at home although that's not a cert either.

I'm not saying we'll beat them mate, I agree with how you say the game will pan out. I just think we have a bigger chance of winning as opposed to losing.

With regards the rest of the season, even the best sides in recent history struggle to go on a ten game winning streak, which is what it would be were we to win our last eight games. So in all fairness we can probably forget about that.

Then you actually look at the standard of our squad, and how in generaly every team has done this year, it becomes even more difficult to see how we could rack up a long unbeaten run, never mind a winning run.

The biggest difficulty this season has been predicting the outcome of any league game and LFC have been no different. We beat Chelsea under both Hodgson and Dlaglish yet also lost to Blackpool under both - that speaks volumes. We also drew with Wigan under both.

But the funniest thing this season has been this period of late under Dalglish. I've lost count of the number of times someone has posted "If we don't beat so and so we're out the race for Europe", only for the following weeks results to go our way and all of a sudden it's back on again.

This season is the craziest I can remember, and if we were to end up getting 4th, I'm not sure I actually would be suprised!

That may be true but we are running out of games.

If we don't win today and both spurs and Cityh do, the difference will grow to 6 (or 7 depending on our result) vs Spurs (and they still have a game in hand) and 10 ( or 11 if we lose) vs Cityh, which would make things for us almost impossible to change.

We have a very little margin of error if we want to move up a spot (or 2 by some miracle) and WBA game is of huge importance.

If anyone wants to play around with predicting the outcome of the top 6 teams this season and their remaining fixtures...

It is an excel spreadsheet and if it asks you for password put anything. It should work.
