I know we still like to slag Torres off but that is ridiculous.
Sturridge is ok, nothing more nothing less.

He might well turn into a great player but he was average for England U21's and a few goals in a short term loan spell doesn't prove anything.

Having said that I think he'll play quite a lot for Chelsea this season as 1 of the 2 wide men in their 4-3-3
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

I don't see him (Sturridge) starting much for Chelsea but I think he'll probably come off the bench quite alot for them this season.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Pity we didn't get Sturridge included in the Torres deal!
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I never said Sturridge is a good player but Torres is only a shadow of the player he once was and it is a big question if he can deliver the goods.

Sturridge is young and upcoming player (looks very hungry and eager to impress) and though he won't be a superstar he is pretty pacey, has good sense for the goal and in terms of productivity next year I am not so sure Torres would contribute more than him if they both would play same number of games.
