    Really? Where'd you hear that?

I'd love it if it were true but I thought Alonso was an integral part of their team / his plans?!

Do not believe that for a second - Xabi was very complimentary about Mourinho in his recent Times interview.

Still talks highly of Rafa too.

Would love to see him back, a great player to have in the dressing room too aswell as the pitch, knows the club and the importance of it..

Really trying to read something positive into this statement, but it could mean anything.

"Hopefully I can transmit to my son what Liverpool Football Club means and how special it is, as he was born in the city and he will visit it in the future."
"Visit" with a view to staying ? hehe, nah...just grasping.

It would be a dream return, but lets not fool ourselves that there is even a chance of it happening.

of all the players gone over the last few years, I really have this sneaky suspicion that Xabi will be back, He could play in the premiership well into his thirties as well.

Also found these classics from him :

"Shaun Wright-Phillips has got a big heart. It's as big as him, which isn't very big, but it's bigger."

"Nicolas Anelka left Arsenal for £23 million and they built a training ground on him."

"I'll never play at Wembley again, unless I play at Wembley again."

I actually thought it was Fash that said it, sure it was, but on the footie quote sites it says 'Les Ferdinand' haha.

                      Not seen Keegan.

This is the one i was on about, but the Keegan one you found fits my posted one, which i took from my head, and memory, so understandable really.

                      Les Ferdinand:
"....I was surprised, but I always say nothing surprises me in football......"

Bloody hell, complicated or what this quoting lark.

I still think Fash said the one i was on about and not Ferdinand.

worst move ever selling alonso. of there was even the smallest possible chance of ever getting him back we should bust a nut to make it happen.
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

So those who want Xabi back and us to get Mourinho have a choice to make then...

Seriously I can't see it ever happening.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
