All this means that when #LFC face Spurs in the penultimate game, Liverpool may need to lose to keep their Euro hopes alive.
    Bizarre.

I still think we can finish 5th anyway though. Whisper it, but i still dont dismiss 4th as a longshot possibility.

      5th is certainly do-able IMO.

Spurs have to play Arsenal at home at home, Us, Chelsea and Man City away which are 4 difficult games they also have West Brom and Blackpool who are fighting for their lives, and Birmingham who have little to play for.

A side from the Spurs game, most of our games are against teams with little to play for.

For me Man City's season depends on how they do in the Spurs game and the Cup final and the approach to those games, if they rest players and drop points and those games don't go well they could fall apart, similarly if they do well in those games they might suffer a cup hang over.

My personal view is that City are too far ahead, but Spurs are catchable. If there were 3 or 4 games more to go I'd fancy our chances of finishing above both of them, if only we'd brought Kenny in sooner...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I think 4th is gone after looking at Citys run in. They only need 9 points from 6 games to guarantee it.

5th is also a struggle. Spurs need 12 points from 7 games.

And that all depends on us winning every game, which I can't see.
        Forwards.......

I think we'll be 6th, but the way Everton are going, it could even be 7th. Again.

Check our run in and check Evertons run in. Then think again

Added to the fact that we are in as good form as Everton, it's not like we are on the slide as four points v City and Arsenal proves.

Can you imagine the accusations should this happen and we lose that game to Spurs?
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Why is the FA cup final being played the week before the season finishes?

I know the Champions League final is at Wembley but that is not until the 28th of May

Because the last league games of the season are on Sunday 22nd May and the CL final is on Saturday 28th May - when would you play the FA Cup final then?

We'll do better in the league without the annoyance of the europa league games so I don't care

At the end of the season like it always has been, could have pulled a selection of fixtures into midweek earlier in the season finished the league on the 14th and played the cup final on the 21st

So more midweek fixture congestion then....not to mention it being a nightmare for the fans, needing to travel.
