So what exactly mean by 'the wrath of numpty'? can a player not be criticised?

I'm not provoking any situation, but don't come on here spouting crap about the wrath of the numpty when it comes to Maxi scoring a hat-trick despite people being critical about some of his performances this season, when you've done plenty of the same and more, for example with Kuyt.
