Everyone else will other than Newcastle fans and players..............but like you said no real need to say that he could have said something else like he'll be in for a tough 90mins instead....let jay spearing take care of him

I think currently with the players at our disposal we are a better team without Carroll in the starting line-up. Personally, I think Kuyt and Suarez have made a better partnership and Raul is wasted when played from the left.

Same again. Bring on the big man for the last half hour.

We could be 5th after this game as Spurs are away to Chelski which means if they lose & we win, we go 5th on goal difference but Spurs will still have a game in hand...

There'd be no question of malice, they're clearly good mates!

As mentioned I would go for the same team even if it means starting Carroll on the bench. It was a fantastic display against Birmingham, and there is no reason to change a winning team. This is a good chance to get Maxi back to his best with some confidence, and I'd rather see that right now than changing the team to give Carroll a bit more game time.

I believe we will be in this for a win, it's a team we stand well against in that they are not overly defensive or deep, which is where we have most of our problems.

If we can get 5th then it's a psychological blow to Spurs and means we can sign Bale (I wish).

I don't understand all the fuss about him - 2 good games against Inter & now he's a 40 million pound plus player!
He reminds me of Kieron Dyer with regards to his always being injured due his speed being too much for his muscles...

                          Let's sign Modric instead

good player, very good player - if you talk to Spurs fans the majority of them rate him far more than Bale

Modric is Spurs' best player - easily.

My Spurs mate thinks Modric flatters to deceive all too often and doesn't have the end produce to match his talent.

On the other hand he thinks VDV is one of the best players in the world and Bale would "walk into a world XI"
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
