Yeah I'm glad he's got them in the sheds and hopefully he can work his magic cause there was only 1 side looking to score by the end of the half.

Think that's harsh. Maxi and Suarez went missing for the last 20 mins, but at least Kuyt was getting involved.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Meh performance thus far. Our right side could become a problem in the second half. Flanagan is already booked and Gutierrez is quite handful.
Very disjointed and midfield is not connecting with Kuyt and Suarez upfront.
Raul is extremely poor. He looks worse with each and every game. Need to change the approach to the second half as we are inviting too much pressure.

nobody was playing great. yes he was getting the ball but he was giving it away in good positions. it's one of those days where dirky is falling over in the box i'm afraid.

We seem to be lacking a bit of sharpness all over the park. Usually the movement and layoffs between Kuyt, Maxi, Suarez and Meireles is pretty good but it's been poor today.

We are playing too defensively and too deep in our half of the pitch, which is a big issue for us as we don't have a single player that can take the ball out and allow Luis, Kuyt and Maxi to the make up some ground in their half before we link up with them.

Flanagan's inexperience has shown, this is a testing time for the young fullbacks, they were suprise selections at first so the opposition didn't know their strengths and weaknesses, now they have been playing a few games opposition managers will have had a chance to look at them, and Gutierrez is taking advantage of Flanagan's inexperience.
With Flanagan on a yellow Kenny could be tempted to bring Robinson on at LB and switch Johnson to RB, athough that depends on Johnson being fit enough to play a full 90 mins
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
not like the bodger days considering we also had an early goal. under hodgson we didn't need anything to protect to send us into our shell, although that never hurt.
