That is the leadership qualities I want to see from him. Well done Carra

I hope that Maxi will get the chance from the start in the next game because he deserves it. We shouldn't play Carroll simply because he is Carroll. No reason to bench a player in great form and change a winning team.

Lucas yet again bossed the midfield. Is he now the best defensive midfielder in the league? He bosses the midfield in game after game. Lucas
He would have to be up there for sure. I'm hoping we can pair Lucas with a creative, classy ball player next season.
    - Whether that's Charlie Adam or someone else Kenny has lined up.

Such a turnaround for Lucas and it's great to see.

It of course also feels great to see Lucas boss the midfield considering what I said about him a few years ago. That he one day would be the best defensive midfielder in the league

I remember all the stick I got and I was called the most weird things. We that supported Lucas the whole time feels extra proud right now.

I also of course said that Insua would be the best left back in the league in a few years time. We will never find that one out.

Tbf Arn, every person on this forum will be genuinely delighted at Lucas' form this season - at times over the last few seasons he shipped a fair amount of criticism, but he is a LFC player and at the end of the day we all SUPPORT him, through thick and thin.

It's your non stop wummery about our esteemed captain and vice captain that gets under a lot of people's skins around here... You'd blame Gerrard or Carra for a traffic jam on the Lower Breck Rd..

Don't feel the need for a "I told you so" post - support the team, including our Captain and Vice Captain.

Yeah saw that, good captaining by Carra

Personally I thought Spearing outshone Lucas today. The lad goes from strength to strength and is proving me wrong

I thought they were pretty good, Anny Road, row 10, seat 150. I'm sure there are much better seats but there is no way I am going to complain, looking straight down the pitch into the Kop, magical

Since when is wummery to praise a player and get a player stick when they deserve it? I praise Carra and Gerrard a lot and give them stick when they deserve it. I don't care if it is a local player or not when I praise or give the player stick. I have praised Carra and Gerrard a lot this season but for some reason that don't get picked up even half as much as it do when I give them stick.

                  Strange isn't it

THink Suarez has more about him though
He's exactly what we needed. Aggressive, driven, passionate, constantly working and attacking, skilled, tricky etc.

He would have been a perfect partner if Nando stayed.

I have rarely seen a player like him that can do such damage with so little space and in very tight spots.

My favorite player by a mile and will get only better next year once we improve the squad.

He does need to improve his decision making little bit as sometimes he gets caught up in the moment and goes for a goal in the situations where we had players wide open and assisting would be the better option but that is expected from a player that has goalscoring instincts and will get better once he fully adjusts to his teammates.

most liverpool fans are genuinely delighted with suarez impact. he's unpredictable and reminds me a bit of little luis garcia. not everything he tries comes off but he's still very young, has scored 3 goals and created five or six. i think thats a good return from a lad who hasnt played in the epl before and ideally he would have someone else create chances for him but were missing gerrard and lacking other creative elements.

the lad has taken up the mantle and we need to get behind him and the rest of the team.
