If his eyes were on the ball then how on earth could he judge that there was any means to get the ball with his feet. I believe he intended to kick Parker. I love the guy but I think there is a very sinister person inside the guy that walks on to the pitch.

You're spot on that there's something about him that is not very pleasant, but without it I think he'd be half the player. He's going to carry on being like this though and we'll have to accept that. I've played Sunday league football and I've seen red cards being followed up with samurai swords; when you play professionally, I've always firmly believed that yes, they are only human, but they do have an example to set and have to show more self-control.

It's not about the competitiveness, it's the other **** he does which could get his sent off, or worse, and has an effect on him, the team and the club. He needs to reign it in and let his feet do the talking as he has plenty enough talent to run games and make the right headlines. Mark my words, from a PR point of view he's a disaster and he's going to be causing JWH a few headaches at the moment
