If we don't make 4th, it'll be tricky to keep him, 3 seasons out of the Champions league wouldn't be attractive to him imo.

But this time, unlike when we bought him, he'll have plenty of offers from top top clubs.

and to be fair you wouldn't blame a player of his quality wanting to win things, and would he really want to hang around in a project that will take a few years to come good.. and that's even if it comes good. We should be in for Llorente now as a backup plan. He's valued at 3.3million apparently. If we offer him a silly salary that others won't want to match (80k-100k?) we could probably convince him.

Personally, if asked outright what he thought about what Suarez said, he can't really say it's acceptable. You can't condone going down for a Penalty to win a match. Suarez was spot on in everything else he said in that interview, but he shouldn't have made the comment about diving imo. Just attracted needless stick again

Not sure on that mate. BR has backed him quite a few times in public when loads of people have said Suarez dives. Even remember Rodgers saying no one says anything about Bale etc and they pick on Suarez.

For Suarez to come out and then say "Yeah I dived to try and win a game", Rodgers looks like a mug. Suarez was hung out to dry on the racism storm I agree. But he should have kept his mouth shut on this diving storm
