I can't imagine it will have too much impact.

He's [Suarez] a professional, he's now part of the furniture and if you believe the rumours, he believes he owes us one. It's just football - he'll get on with it.

I think he might end up biting Rodgers.

Selling his mate and potentially replacing him with a guy who made a ridiculous personal attack on him would be a hugely stupid idea

Well, *if* we get Williams, then yes ... that would be daft. But I don't want to think of Williams in a Liverpool shirt.

I hope Arsenal snap him up quickly. I don't fancy a summer saga like we had with Downing

If we sell Suarez it could end up biting us in the arse.

Not wanting to start a whole debate here but I keep seeing reference to the Evra affair in plenty of posts.

When people charge him of being guilty, do they mean in the FA’s eyes or in their own eyes and do most on here believe he did intentionally racially abuse Evra?

It was quite hard to keep up with the whole thing, but once things settled down and people looked at the evidence rationally, was it generally accepted that he was guilty?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

None of which are world class. So you replace them with 2 world class defenders and you've got more strength in depth right away.

We paid roughy £10 million each for Sturridge and Coutinho. If we sold Suarez for £50 million and were able to replace him with 5 players of the same quality as Sturridge and Coutinho would the team be stronger or weaker overall?

Or we could buy 2 Downings and a Borini. There is no way ever signing we would make would have the same impact.

We probably could buy 5 signings (3 CBs a Winger and another striker) and combined they probably wouldn't hit Suarez' goal tally for this season.

We say it year on year but rarely do it - QUALITY and not quantity please BR.

pure fm though isn't it. If we bought 5 players for 10m, couple wouldnt make the grade, 1 would be garbage, 1 do well and hopefully one excellent.

We have done well with the last couple of signings, but history dictates that not all signings will settle as well as these two.

We have a world class player and prob around 30m+ to spend in the summer, I would prefer that option than 80m and gambling on all of them being a success.
