Didn't he say press/media criticism and people disliking him spurs him on to better performances and he didn't really care. May have said something similar to The Times the day before biting someone. Needs to make his mind up really.

And if he thinks he deserves to play in a better team, I'd disagree. I think he has issues with his mentality. There aren't many top clubs where you would get away being suspended for 22 games in a couple seasons with no red cards against you. He himself has let us down and brought those problems on himself. If he wants to talk about the impact on his daughter and his wife, he really needs to look at himself and sort himself out. It's easy to blame others for things, much more difficult to find fault in yourself. Most normal folk would look at themselves if they'd done something wrong and try and address the problem if it affects their homelife.

I don't agree that the racism Evra case was his fault. The club and the FA really didn't give him a fair chance.

We will never really know if he is innocent or not thanks to that. I don't think he was guilty that time because I find it impossible that every camera would have missed him jumping around like a monkey shouting racism things to Evra a number of times.

When it comes down to the bite then I think he did that to get a move away from the club.

IMO Suarez is excellent using the media in the same way as Xabi so we the fans will love him.

I know there is little loyalty in football nowadays but it would be nice to see him stay to really help bed in the Rodgerlution and repay the backing we have given him.

As probably the sole member of the 'we should sell him because he bites people and ****' club, I think it's probably right for him and us, providing we can get quality players in with the money we get.

I've doubled the membership.

I won't hold any ill will towards him if he leaves. I'd just rather that he (or any other player) didn't try to engineer an exit by blaming other factors, if his primary driver is playing for a bigger club that can currently compete for trophies.

Ambition is not a crime, and this notion of loyalty in football is the exception, not the norm. For every Gerrard or Carragher there are a hundred players who will put success and trophies first. I have no issue with him for that. My issue is the multiple ****storms that he has created for the club, and I actually think that a change of scene will be best for all parties.

Who can blame him? Gerrard nearly left after we'd won a European Cup. And he's from Liverpool and had no miss treatment from the press. LFC fan growing up, captain of the club, etc. And we were in the CL.

Compare that to Suarez. We've won nothing last season, he has family living in Spain, he's getting shot at from all corners and the club have not been in the Champions League for four years. And I wouldn't bet a serious amount on us making it in next year either.

Yes we have great tradition and yes our fans are great. But we don't have a great team and that's what counts.
