I have an agenda now, okay.
You could be accused of having one too.
I have a different point of view, that's all. It's allowed.Comment

It was just a bizarre stat to bring up really. I've never once heard anyone talk about strikers in terms of how many games they've not scored in. It's backwards logic
It'd only really apply if he'd bagged a double hattrick against Norwich or something which had completely warped the stats. Otherwise it's a pointless statistic.
As others have mentioned he might score goals in patches, but sometimes he needs to score more than once in a match for us to win the game anyway.Comment

This is what is wrong with Suarez
In the top 3 despite having a horrible conversion ratio and as a result minutes per goal ratio
Patience when teased often, transforms into rageComment

The whole ****ing world knows we need another striker, I just don't understand your bollocks about strikers that score in spells or one a game.Dividing goals scored by games played doesn't give an accurate picture of a strikers goalscoring habits does it
Would we rather one who scores a goal a game or thereabouts or one who scores in spells and then none at all for a while. I'd rather both.
I'll say it again for you all that seem to be missing the point. He's great but he needs help, he's not a lead the line kind of guy and we'll never win leagues relying on him alone to score goals.
Very very few forwards will finish seasons consistently scoring 1/1, and your question is pointless. Would we rather a striker who scored every single game or every few games? What sort of question is that?
Oh, and Suarez is very capable of being the 1/1 man everyone wants, it'll help when he doesn't have to make 80% of his chances through his own brilliance too.Comment

And I'd agree.
If he does it. He should have no problems being a 25 goal a season man but he misses too many for me . We all get annoyed when he has one for those games. If he gets there I'll be well happy, he needs someone beside him doing it too though.
Out of a front 5 including advanced midfielders he's scoring on his own and we'll do **** all if that remains the case.Comment

What I mean is someone consistent, not needing a hundred chances before he takes one.The whole ****ing world knows we need another striker, I just don't understand your bollocks about strikers that score in spells or one a game.

Do you want someone who scores a hat trick then nothing for a few games then a brace?
Luis is a luxury, we need the other type of forward up there with him. One who gets a sniff of a goal and slams it home.Comment

If he scored 7 hat-tricks in a season (probably breaking a world record in the process) I'd think he was absolutely gash and want him sold immediately. No brainer isn't it. Sell that piece of crap ASAP

If we had 2 more "Luxuries" exactly like him playing up front with him and we would be unbeatableComment

But his stats sice joinging us don't suggest that, his goal ratio is well spread out, only scoring more than once in 3 matches.
Stupid question, plus he could also get 3 assists in the other 31 games. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?Comment
